Some Highlights from Pastor Brummett's annual report

Year End Report - Our 2009-2010 Church year ended on March 31, 2010. First Church enjoyed another good year of ministry:

* Morning Worship Attendance Increased from 251 to2 59

* Church Membeship Increased from 451 to 465 (17 new members) Our new members received during the year are: Alan Gruning, Janet Gruning, Carlos Hernandez, Sandra Hernandez, Kennety Hernandez, Keschel Hernandez, Daniel Quinn, Judy Quinn, Glenn Uebel, Shirley Uebel, Ken Kirk, Marilyn Kirk, Bob Fowler, Mary Fowler, Jennifer Perry, Richard Lohman, Donna Lohman, and Joshua Martin.

* Sunday School Attendance Increased from 173 to 180

* All Budgets Were Paid in Full (World Evangelism Fund was overpaid)

* Church Income was $672,777.59

* Church Expenditures were $627,152.54

* Loan Balance on our facilities is $1,693,768.90

* Two Missions Trips During The Year ( Dominican Republic and Brazil)

Great District NMI Convention and Assembly - It was a joy welcoming the Southern Florida District to Ft. Myers First Church for District NMI Convention and Assembly from May 14-17. Dr. Jesse Middendorf was the presiding general superintendent. Thank-you to all who helped make it a great weekend - your servant's heart was a blessing. Many served in the nursery, as ushers/greeters, audio-video, music (instrumental and vocal), special meal preparation, hosts/hostesses, set-up and take down crew, refreshments, and more. Great job!

 

Our sympathy to the family of Jack Baker who passed away on Sunday, May 23rd. The funeral service was at the church on Saturday, May 29. Please keep Barbara and the family in your prayers during this difficult time.
