From the Pastor -“A Time To Say, “Thank-You”

Our church year ended March 31st. Once again, we can look back and see God’s blessing in the life of Ft. Myers First Church. What a joy to know that Christ is guiding in the direction, decisions, and ministries of His church as together we celebrate God’s faithfulness throughout this past year. As I reflect on the year, I realize it is time to say, “thank-you”.

Sunday evening, April 6th, we had an “Appreciation Dinner” for all those involved in ministry to express our heart-felt gratitude for your involvement in ministry. Thank-you to every Sunday School teacher, every greeter, nursery attendant, youth leader, children’s ministry leader, choir member, musician, usher, dare-to-care ministry participant, missions leader, church board member, Sunday School board member, kitchen worker, prime-time ministry leader, office volunteer, Upward Basketball volunteer, V.B.S. worker, children’s church worker, church staff member, and the list goes on and on. The ministry of this church has blessed so many lives - thanks!

* Sunday School Attendance Average - 218
* Morning Worship Attendance Average - 262
* New members received - 13 - Present membership 444
* All budgets paid in full
* Total Raised for All Purposes: $670,057.05

This coming year we will continue our emphasis on discipleship as we further pursue “The Master’s Plan for Making Disciples”. Pray for God’s direction and blessing. – Pastor Brummett

Building Fund Update - Here is some important information concerning our church loan:

* Building/Property Value - $ 5,500,000.00
* Indebtedness - $1,813,380.45
* Monthly payment - $11,924.38
* Needed for the year - $143,092.56
* Building Fund Received Last Year - $103,675.15

We will be renewing our building fund pledges in the next few weeks. Thank-you in advance for prayerfully considering what you will be able to pledge to help us pay for our church home.
